We're dropping into the area on Friday and Saturday to get some early physical engagement that will help us in defining the LN projects.
WAVEparticle are conducting some informal interviews and conversations across both LN areas to try and catch people on the street with something to say. Worried about the weather? Fear not, as we have a gazebo, so no excuses!
On Friday afternoon we’ll be at Sinclair Drive, Battlefield for 2pm followed by Glenmore Avenue, Toryglen for 4pm. The team is then returning to the southside on Saturday morning setting up the gazebo outside Langside Halls for 9am and then moving to Bolton Drive / Clincart Rd, Mount Florida for 11.15 which will also catch some of the pre-match build up before the international fixture at Hampden later in the day.
Please come along if you can, we’d love to meet you and hear your ideas.

On Thursday 14th October 2021, we’ve organised a series of online sessions to listen to what’s important to you and to connect individuals, organisations and projects, across the north and south of the city under the LN themes. The main areas of focus here are Ruchill, Possilpark, Port Dundas, Hamiltonhill & Cowlairs in the North and Langside, Battlefield, Mount Florida, Toryglen & King’s Park in the South. As part of this we have invited several contributors to give short 3-minute presentations (Peku) on something they are trying to develop in their area, with the intention that this will stimulate conversation, inspire action and begin the process of making better connections.
The project team will be looking for your help to identify potential interventions in your neighbourhoods that will be established as part of the first phase of the project.
If you would you like to attend, have your say and hear from others then please email us at:
LiveableNeighbourhoods@glasgow.gov.uk
and we’ll send you an invite for the online event.
